You most likely picture dreary drizzle and rising tides when you think of the Oregon coast in the winter.
However, until Wednesday at 7 p.m., the National Weather Service has declared a winter storm warning for the entire Oregon Coast Range, from Astoria to the Florence region.
On Tuesday, February 4, 2025, the National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for portions of southwest Washington and much of northwest Oregon.The National Weather Service
The weather agency prepares for snow accumulations ranging from 4 to 10 inches.

As a result, we requested that people email us pictures of snowfall in coastal towns.
We’ve also seen some quite unusual sights thus far, such as surfers in the snow. Oh, and there’s this lion at an Astoria hotel, relaxing near a fire pit.
