Astoria has already tasted low elevation snow, which could appear in the Portland region on Wednesday.
Over the previous two days, the Oregon coast town has had a mix of rain and light snow, according to the National Weather Service. On Monday morning, Kat McBride, a guest services associate at the Bowline Hotel, took pictures of a sea lion moving across a layer of snow on the hotel’s patio in the direction of its fire pit.
