Special weather statement issued for Ochoco-John Day Highlands until Sunday midday

At 3:50 a.m. on Sunday, the National Weather Service issued a special weather statement for Ochoco-John Day Highlands that would last until noon.

“Areas of southern and eastern Grant County may continue to see snowfall this morning, resulting in slick roads and decreased visibility. There could be two to four inches of snow. The weather agency advises drivers to use caution when driving today.
