A man and two teens were taken into custody by police on Wednesday after they allegedly stole a car from a parking lot in Southeast Portland while brandishing guns, then crashed the vehicle into a garbage truck as they were escaping.
According to a statement from the Portland Police Bureau, Julian D. Lane, 27, of Gresham, is expected to be charged with first and second-degree robbery, unlawful use of a weapon, unauthorized use of a vehicle, and attempting to flee police.
