Oregon securityAs a former junior college athlete, Kobe Savage will not use his extra year of eligibility.
Savage declared he will stay in the 2025 NFL draft after playing for two seasons at Tyler Junior College and then Kansas State. During this season, the sixth-year senior recorded a career-high 64 tackles (2.5 for loss) and a pass breakup.
Three Oregon football players, including Savage, were affected when the NCAA granted a waiver that let former junior college players whose eligibility had run out in 2024–25 to play in 2025–26.
Additionally eligible are offensive lineman George Silva IV and nose tackle Jamaree Caldwell. Caldwell is still in the draft, and Silva is going back to UO.
