According to authorities, a lady in Southeast Portland died Sunday after being struck by a car.
According to the Portland Police Bureau, officers were called at 6:43 p.m. to reports that a car had hit a person in the 4200 block of Southeast Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard. When they got there, they discovered a woman with severe injuries.
According to authorities, the driver stayed at the site.
According to officials, the injured woman passed away after being transported to a local hospital.
Neither the victim nor the driver’s names have been made public.
