At 1:02 a.m. on Monday, the National Weather Service issued an air stagnation alert for the Curry County Coast and Klamath Basin that would last until Thursday at noon.
According to the weather service, “A strong inversion and stagnant air conditions near the surface will trap pollutants possibly leading to poor air quality.”
The weather agency says, “People with respiratory problems may experience problems due to poor air quality.” “Persons with respiratory illness should follow their physicians advice for dealing with high levels of air pollution during periods of stagnant air.”
United Robots offers a service called Advance Local Weather Alerts that gathers the most recent information from the National Weather Service using machine learning.
