The United States Geological Survey reports that an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 occurred early Saturday off the coast of Oregon.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located on the southern Oregon coast, roughly 123 miles west of Bandon. There were no reports of damage. The earthquake occurred 10 kilometers below the surface at 5:36 a.m.
Off the coast of Oregon, earthquakes frequently occur. So far, nine people have responded to the agency’s online form indicating that they felt the earthquake.
