Update: Wind advisory issued for Curry County Coast until Saturday night

At 3:20 a.m. on Friday, the National Weather Service issued an updated wind advisory for Curry County Coast that was in effect from 10 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Saturday.

“Northeast winds of 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph are expected,” the weather service said. “Winds will first become gusty at exposed locations in the higher terrain tonight, then will be strongest across the area during Saturday afternoon and evening.”
