Update: Air stagnation advisory issued for South Central Oregon Coast until Friday midday

At 2:34 p.m. on Thursday, the National Weather Service issued an updated air stagnation advisory for the South Central Oregon Coast, which will remain in force until Friday at noon.

“Take action now to protect vulnerable plants from the cold,” the weather agency said. When it comes to handling high levels of air pollution during periods of stagnant air, people with respiratory illnesses should heed their doctors’ instructions.
