A 1904 Colonial Revival residence on a raised property in the Nob Hill district of Northwest Portland is renowned for its abundance of flowers, trees, and shrubs in front of a terrace with balustrades. Little is known about the three vibrant ladies who are recognized for having designed and maintained the elegant, historic home of Isam and Rose White.
To commemorate the beginning of Women’s History Month, supporters of the statewide preservation group Restore Oregon will be able to tour the private home on March 1. They will learn about the women who resided here while enjoying appetizers:
