The majority of local fans won’t let you forget that Phish performed in Rose City 25 years ago. However, the rock band’s first show in Portland in the twenty-first century is slated for April, so the moment to start over is finally approaching.
The American jam band Phish, which was founded in 1983, will perform on Sunday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m. at the Moda Center. The performance is a part of the band’s 2025 West Coast tour, which culminates with three nights at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and two gigs each in Seattle and San Francisco.
Fans can request pre-sale tickets on the Phish website until 9 a.m. on Monday, February 3, but general public ticket sales at Ticketmaster begin at noon on Friday, February 7.
Due to a special arrangement, you can save $20 on orders of $200 or more for the event you want to attend when you enter our exclusive discount promo code Oregon20 at checkout if this is your first time buying tickets with Vivid Seats.
Additionally, Vivid Seats, Stubb Hub, and Seat Geek sell tickets.
The last time Phish performed in Portland was on September 12, 1999, at Portland Meadows, a horse racing (and occasionally outdoor performance) venue that closed in 2019.
After a quarter of a century away, what finally drew Phish back to Portland? Perhaps they noticed one of the numerous Reddit postings lamenting the rock band’s departure, or the YouTube video that an ardent local created addressing the band only a few months ago.
In any case, there is reason to rejoice.
