On Monday, a food box will be available for pickup at an east Portland middle school for families and people in need.
3,400 food boxes will be distributed at the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day food distribution event, which has been hosted by the organization Sunshine Division in Portland since 2021. Kaiser Permanente provided a $95,000 grant to support it.
