Last October, Portland Public Schools board member Herman Greene asked a question that stopped the conversation at a National Alliance of Black School Educators convention in Atlanta.
Greene informed district superintendents and other school board members from across the nation that Portland was planned to invest well over $400 million each to construct three high schools. Did anyone notice the price tag?
