Pacific Office Automation permanently replaces CEO after sexual abuse scandal

Pacific Office Automation has fired Doug Pitassi as its CEO, and the Oregon-based business has named a permanent replacement for the scandal-plagued leader.

Five days after The Oregonian/OregonLive revealed a series of sexual assault and misconduct claims against him, Pitassi, 63, was placed on indefinite leave in October. He had served as the Beaverton company’s CEO since 2018 after serving as its president since 2007.
