The NCAA has cleared Bryce Boettcher’s return to the Oregon Ducks in 2025.
According to a source with knowledge of the situation, the linebacker’s request for a waiver for a fourth season of football eligibility was approved. When Boettcher joined the UO baseball team in the 2020–21 school year, his five-year eligibility clock began. In 2022, he joined the football team as a walk-on safety.
