Convicted kidnapper Negasi Zuberi attempted a 2nd escape from jail, prosecutor says

According to a prosecutor, Negasi Zuberi attempted to flee the Jackson County Jail in southern Oregon three weeks after a federal jury found him guilty of kidnapping two women.

It was Zuberi’s second attempt to break out of jail since his arrest in July 2023.
