Despite the fact that the transfer portal period ended a week ago, Oregon State and its 2025 football roster are still being moved.
There is no expiration date on when OSU can add a player, even though the existing Beavers have past the deadline to enter the portal. However, a soft deadline is approaching because Monday marks the start of Oregon State’s winter quarter. A player most likely has to be on campus within the next ten days in order to transfer to OSU and enroll for winter quarter.
Riley Williams, a tight end from Miami, is the most recent addition to the Beavers.
Oregon State has been able to keep a few names because of a recent NCAA junior college waiver for athletes whose eligibility had exhausted after the 2024 season. While offensive lineman Flavio Gonzalez entered the transfer portal, outside linebacker Nikko Taylor and safety Tyrice Ivy will return. Although he won’t be playing for the Beavers again next season, safety Alton Julian told The Oregonian/OregonLive that he hopes to continue playing football.
Here is the most recent information about Oregon State’s progress toward the upcoming season. Beavers on their way to the portal, transfers the Beavers have acquired, and important players who have declared their return for 2025 are listed here.
Note: During early signing day in December, Oregon State added 18 players—17 high school seniors and one junior college player—to their 2025 roster.
