Unknown person tries to coerce high school student into car in Happy Valley, school district says

The North Clackamas School District claimed in a statement that an unidentified individual tried to force a high school student into a car on Tuesday morning while the youngster was waiting at a Happy Valley school bus stop.

According to the district, the incident occurred close to Southeast 92nd Avenue and Monterey Avenue. The student boarded the school bus safely instead of getting into the automobile.

According to the school, it lacked specifics and did not describe the individual or the vehicle.

The incident on Tuesday morning follows a Portland high school girl who was walking home being trailed by two men in a black sedan less than two months prior. Families and students are encouraged to use caution at bus stops, according to the North Clackamas School District.
