Portland man sentenced in 2021 killing; Beaverton fatal OD charged; judge grants new trial against Oregon DHS

A 23-year-old man who admitted to first-degree manslaughter in the 2021 murder of Sergio Hunt in Portland was given a 10-year prison sentence.

Hunt, 17, was close friends with Keyshawn Pervish and his younger brother, according to court records and family testimonies. According to a detective’s affidavit, Hunt became irritated with Pervish for showing his girlfriend more attention as the three were hanging out in her apartment.
