The University of Oregon staffer who used an expletive to tell Donald Trump fans to “go jump off a bridge” is no longer employed by the university.
Leonard Serrato, 40, the associate director of fraternity and sorority life for the Ducks, was fired, according to a report published in the Daily Emerald on Friday. Serrato is no longer employed, according to university spokesperson Eric Howald, who made this confirmation to The Oregonian/OregonLive. Howald refused to give Serrato his last day of employment or his last salary.
According to the Daily Emerald, Serrato made fun of Trump fans on his public Instagram profile after the election with a tirade full of profanity.
Get a better-paying work if you are depressed over the high cost of your food. Improve your life. Obtain education. Take action. Serrato adds three curses in the video and says, “Because you are stupid.”
After his comments in November, Serrato was placed on paid administrative leave by the institution. On Sunday, he was not immediately available for comment regarding his leaving the university.
