A prosthetic leg belonging to a 20-year-old cancer survivor was stolen from a car in downtown Portland, and Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for any information that will help recover it.
According to a news statement from the foundation, on December 8, someone or a group of persons broke into the automobile and stole the leg, which included a running blade, near Southwest 11th Avenue and Columbia Street.
According to Crime Stoppers, the equipment is valued at approximately eight thousand dollars. According to the foundation, the owner lost his limb due to bone cancer.
The public is being asked to assist Portland police and Crime Stoppers in locating the stolen leg.
Up to $2,500 in cash rewards are offered by Crime Stoppers for information that results in an arrest. Authorities want anybody who knows where suspects are or has information about them to provide anonymous tips to Crime Stoppers at crimestoppersoforegon.com.
