Texas State offensive lineman Alex Harkey transfers to Oregon Ducks

This transfer portal window has seen the largest addition for the Oregon Ducks to date. literally.

Alex Harkey, an offensive lineman for Texas State, declared his dedication to the Ducks on Wednesday. According to On3, the redshirt junior (6-5, 330) was ranked as the sixth best offensive lineman available in the portal. He is still eligible for another year.

Prior to spending two seasons with the Bobcats, Harkey, a three-star junior college player, spent one season at Colorado in 2022. With Josh Conerly Jr. potentially leaving for the NFL a year early and Ajani Cornelius graduating, he immediately addresses a need for the Ducks next season.
