The Oregon State women’s basketball team lost to UC Irvine 60-48 at Gill Coliseum on Sunday, and their offense, and especially their three-point shooting, continued to struggle.
The Anteaters didn’t calm down until they had a 26-point lead halfway through the fourth quarter after exploding late in the first half. OSU made the gap respectable by outscoring UC Irvine 17-3 in the last 3:15.
The Beavers ended 3 of 17 from beyond the arc and missed their first 13 three-point attempts. This season, Oregon State (3-7) is just shooting 20.7% from three. OSU’s three-point shooting percentage is lower than that of only five out of 353 Division I teams.
