The Clackamas County Sheriff’s office reports that an armed individual has barricaded themselves in a building at the National Guard recruitment base at Camp Withycombe in Happy Valley.
Sheriff’s office spokesperson Brian McCall told The Oregonian/OregonLive that a SWAT squad and crisis negotiators are on the scene and that the individual seems to be experiencing a mental health crisis.
