After a foggy and occasionally quite rainy Portland weekend, Monday should provide some respite if your feet are soaked and your solar holiday lights are dead.
According to the National Weather Service, fog will be the first issue facing the Willamette Valley and the coast.
The valley is under a severe fog advisory until noon, while the coast is under one until nine in the morning.
However, Monday is predicted to be sunny with a high of 48 degrees in Portland. The sky will remain clear during the night, and the temperature should dip to around 33 degrees.
As the clouds and rain return on Wednesday, Portland will get some typical rainy December weather for the remainder of the week, so that sun will remain for at least another day, hopefully long enough to charge those lights.
