Striking graduate students reach tentative deal with Oregon State University

After going on strike for almost a month, graduate students at Oregon State University could resume work on Tuesday, according to union president Austin Bosgraaf.

According to Bosgraaf, a tentative contract agreement was reached on Friday between Oregon State officials and the Coalition of Graduate Employees, which represents around 1,700 graduate student research and teaching assistants at the state’s largest university. According to him, union members have till Monday at midnight to decide whether or not to approve the deal.
