Update: Freezing fog advisory anticipated to expire at 11 a.m.

The John Day Basin, Central Oregon, and the foothills of Oregon’s Southern Blue Mountains were under the advisory.

“Freezing fog patches are starting to disperse around the area or rise into a stratus layer. Although there should be some clearing overall, some fog patches might still exist, especially for those higher up in the stratus layer. The National Weather Service says, “There is a chance that fog could return tonight before being swept out tomorrow, but confidence is low at this time.”
