2 teens accused in murder of Portland man who allegedly tried to stop purse-snatching

According to authorities, two adolescents are in arrest for the suspected murder of a man who attempted to prevent a handbag snatching in a Fred Meyer parking lot on January 13.

The two young males, ages 15 and 16, were detained on murder and robbery charges related to the death of Jonathan Trent, 47, according to officers who declined to identify them.
